A Travellerspoint blog

If your shopping today you are on your own!

And she did . . 3rd visit to Ala Moana centre

sunny 27 °C

So I made my way to the pillbox hike a couple of WW2 bunkers perched high up on the point between Kailua and LanakaI
Steep rocky climb in searing heat but worth it for the view, a few cheeky girls on the way up
From the top you can see the island of Maui about 60 miles away - I wonder if any shots were fired from here during the Pearl Harbor attack?
Challenged the cheeky American girls to a speedy decent but their youth and athleticism proved too strong.
Bought this driSac pouch for the phone that let's you film underwater so thought I would give it a Crack off the coral at LanakaI beach
Hardly Jacques Custeau but you get the idea

Finished the day with a nice dinner at a recommended restaurant set in botanical gardens
